  The food was delicious and good portions. The staff were all very friendly and lovely to deal with. We got to watch the bull riding practise over dinner which was good fun including the dance off at half time. Definitely worth a stop if you're passing through.

  Book your table early for the live Bull Riding nights on Wednesday and Friday's for a fun night out. I booked for 6.30 as the Bull riding starts at 7pm. Ordered our meal which arrived in time for us to dine and watch the entertaining Bull riding in the arena. Followed by a dance off at the end of the night. Generous Tasty meals and great prices. This is such a good value night out four of us dined here and watched the entertainment for under $100.00 for all of us, Such good value you would expect to pay at least twice that much in a capital city. Can't recommend this place highly enough.

  Omg!!! Amaze-balls!!!! Food was so delicious! Mega portions! The lovely waitress even packed thr other half of mine in a doggy bag. Great friendly authentic western feel!! The service was speedy and friendly. Great prices!! Love love love

  Other than it's history, there is not a lot to recommend about this place. Considering Rockhampton is supposed to be the beef capital of Australia, the steaks we ordered (from the ordering counter - no one takes the order from your table) were nothing special and actually not that great or flavourful, the primary reason we went there. I'd tell visitors to go for a beer and take in any events etc but save your meal money for a better restaurant.
