  I recently spent four days at the Mater Hospital and cannot fault it. From reception, surgical admissions, theatre, HDU and the ward I was greeted with friendly, caring, professional staff. If you need a hospital in Rockhampton, I highly recommend the Mater.

  My mother needed a hospital facility in her final days (may her soul rest in peace) and I am so, so glad that I paid the extra to have her at the Mater Hospital. The Base Hospital is so cold and sterile but this hospital made my mother's final days a little more comfortable and friendlier.

  Out of Hours Clinic - staff caring & knowledgeable - on call Dr Jeff Clark was punctual & brilliant with swift diagnosis. Top marks all around !!
